Educational Background: I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Math and Language Arts and a Master of Middle Grades. I received my Master of School Administration from Pembroke University through the Sandhills Regional Education Consortium.

Educational Background: I graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. After military service, chosen for the Troops to Teachers Program, earning an Initial Licensure in Business and Marketing Education from North Carolina State University. I earned my Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As a servant leader, I earned a Doctor of Ministry from North Carolina Theological Seminary at New Life Theological Seminary.

At the heart of my philosophy is the power of relationships. When students feel safe, valued, and connected, they are more likely to take risks, push through challenges, and achieve their goals.

Educational Background: I am currently pursuing a Master’s in School Administration at NC State University as a Cumberland 2026 Fellow. I also hold a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, a Bachelor’s in Literacy from Northern Caribbean University, and a diploma in Primary Education from Sam Sharpe Teachers' College. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). My strengths include teacher evaluation, collaborative problem-solving, and equity-focused leadership. I currently serve as a Principal Resident at Pine Forest Middle School and am a proud member of the Math Advisory Team for Cumberland County Schools.
